Meet our leader: Ryan Hunter
Ryan joined QTS in 2017 and serves as Chief Operations Officer. Ryan oversees all Development, Design, Engineering, and Facility Operations for the U.S. and Europe. In addition, he is responsible for Europe Pre-Development and Procurement. Since 2023, Ryan served as EVP, Facilities Operations, driving all infrastructure and operations of QTS facilities and ensuring reliability, efficiency and safety, and before that he was VP, Facilities Operations.
Ryan brings 25 years of experience in mission critical operations to his role at QTS. Prior to QTS, Ryan was Director, Facilities Support at vXchnge where he was responsible for the maintenance, operations, and overall management of the company's facilities. He also served in facilities management roles at Equinix and Switch and Data.
Ryan served as Leading Petty Officer, Reactor Electrical Division in the United States Navy for eight years and completed Naval Nuclear Power School as an Operator and Electrician during his service.
